Veterinarian: Dr. Lara Sypniewski, DVM, and Lakota Towe, 4th Year Student, OSU VTH
HISTORY –
Sage, an 8-year-old Dalmatian/Bulldog mix, was diagnosed with bilateral cruciate degeneration, which had significantly impacted her mobility and comfort. While she was not on any medications at the time, her daily activities had become increasingly limited due to discomfort.
Sage’s owner, Lakota, who is also a vet student, decided to pursue Spryng® as a treatment option.
DIAGNOSIS –
Bilateral Cruciate Degeneration
TREATMENTS -
In October 2024, Sage received bilateral knee Spryng® with OsteoCushion™ Technology injections at OSU VTH.
OUTCOME -
There has been a clear improvement in her overall comfort level. She is now much more willing and able to participate in short walks and basic daily activities.
Her owner has noticed a positive difference in her ability to move comfortably.
Sage’s progress continues to be monitored, with optimism that she will experience even greater improvements over time.
