Clinical Trial:
Canine Hip Osteoarthritis
Purpose of the Study
Arthritis is estimated to affect up to 60% of the 90 million adult dogs in the United States.
This trial is designed to evaluate a naturally derived biomaterial to help restore proper joint mechanics by joint injection.
Up to 25 dogs with unilateral or bilateral hip arthritis (confirmed by radiographs) will be included in the study and the study will be completed over 90 days.

Inclusion Criteria
Age: 2-12 years old
Weight: 20-100 lbs (10-50kg)
Lameness in one or both rear legs
Radiographic evidence of hip osteoarthritis
Exclusion Criteria
Neurologic disease
Prior hip injection within the last 6 months
Corticosteroid use within the last 3 months
Active cranial cruciate ligament disease
Pain with palpation of the feet, knees, or tarsi
Participation Requirements
